The Bill of Rights is toast

Thanks to antiwar.com for printing this great article by John Whitehead. The article does a nice job of summarizing the loss of liberty that Americans have experienced in recent years. The end of the article discusses the recent National Defense Authorization Act, which allows the armed forces to be used inside America against American citizens.

    I often find myself wondering what the Founders would say to the state that we are in. I am sure that the evil Alexander Hamilton would be delighted that we have come to be ruled by his fantasy of a powerful central government.

    Our Constitution has been completely eviscerated and not only do people not care, they celebrate it! I love reading your blog because it is one of the few things that gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, not all hope is lost.
