Social Security is broke

As many Austrians have been warning for quite some time, Social Security is unsustainable, especially with a severe permanent recession and the aging baby boom population. Fourteen years from now, workers will really be paying through the nose. As you can see in this article from cnn.com, the tipping point has been reached. More government failure.

You were right. That was a very sobering post. But thanks to class, this doesn't come as much of a shock.

I did hear the other day that the dollar dropped down to 2 cents. I have not been able to verify that but if it is true i am not at all surprised.

You said 9 years from now you'd expect to hear from us that you were right.

I didn't see much of a reason to wait that long.
