In a civilized society, should anyone or any government ever force anyone to do anything against his or her will as long as that person does not infringe upon the life, liberty, or property of another?

Another war in the Middle East. I knew that we would launch into another war. I wonder what the Prez will say to get us to stand behind Isreal in this war...
What are the realistic chances of this? I mean, can the ENTIRE government be so stupid to not see the incredible amount of bloodshed and money that would be spilled on such a war?
It's not the ENTIRE govt - it's only those nuts in the Pentagram and the White House. That's all it takes. Remember, every single rep in Congress has companies in their district that make parts for weapons. So voting against intervention and war may mean you're not re-elected. The military idustrial complex that Eisenhower warned against is now the military congressional pertroleum industrial complex. Evil incarnate.
I was just wondering, what do you think it will really be like when this leviathan actually crashes? All things will come to a head and this country will fail just like Rome.
It's only a matter of time.
But haven't the people of this country had enough war? I mean, literally it was 8 years of slogans, publicity of people and even soldiers stating how wrong the US was for being in the Iraq War. The majority should be the anti-war shouldn't it?
