Faulty science?

As most followers of Austrian economics and the Mises Institute know, there's a lot of bad science out there. Thanks to lewrockwell.com for linking to this article about the "man-made" global catastrophe known as global warming, er, I mean, "climate change."

Global warming? So, the earth warms and cools all the time!

A great article appeared today that questions the scientific community's consensus that the human race is responsible for the alleged global warming of today and that we should get rid of cars and factories.

The government loves to use fear and hype to control us, and they love it when government funded scientists agree with what they say.

Global Warming Caused by Humans?

A report from the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine called the "Environmental Effects of Increased Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide" leads to the conclusion that "there are no experimental data to support the hypothesis that increases in human hydrocarbon use or in atmospheric carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are causing or can be expected to cause unfavorable changes in global temperatures, weather, or landscape. There is no reason to limit human production of CO2, CH4, and other minor greenhouse gases as has been proposed."

Amazing how scientists, without the use of federal money, come to conclusions markedly different from government grant scientists.
